1 – Presentation
This promotion is operated by CMC Spreadbet Plc (registered in England and Wales with Company number 02589529, “CMC Markets”) and whose registered office is at 66 Prescott Street, London, E1 8HG. CMC Spreadbet Plc is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority (FSA reference number 170627).
Subject to the following Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”); this offer entitles new customers opening a MarketMaker:Investor Edition account to receive:
- an annual subscription to MarketStars through the MarketMaker:Investor Edition interface (normally available on Digital Look website for £150) and;
- access to Level 2 data; and
- access to My First Trade workshop, Introduction to Technical Analysis seminar and Advanced Technical Analysis seminar; and
- £100 paid into their MarketMaker:Investor Edition account (the ‘Promotion’)
The risks associated with Spread Betting will apply this Promotion. Spread betting carry a high risk to your capital. Therefore, as a result of your trading activity you undertake to qualify for this Promotion, losses incurred may exceed the value of the Promotion and your initial deposit.
2 – Start and End dates of the promotion
This Promotion is available from 1 June 2009 to 31 July 2009 (inclusive).
3 – Conditions of eligibility
This Promotion is available to “new customers” only. For the purposes of this Promotion, a new customer is someone who has never held a MarketMaker:Investor Edition account or a Spreadbet account with CMC Markets and who:
- is a resident of the United Kingdom; and
- is aged 18 or over at the time of entering the Promotion; and
- submits his/her application between the start date and the end date and the application is amongst the 200 first received applications per month, provided that the application is accepted and the account further opened in accordance with CMC Markets’ standard account opening procedures;and
- funds his/her MarketMaker: Investor Edition account with a minimum of £200 before the end date;
This promotion is not available to any person who is:
- an employee of CMC Markets or any other company within its group; or
- a friend or member of the family of such employee; or
- affiliated or connected to CMC Markets or any other company within its group, including, but not limited to brokers or partners or CMC Markets or any other company within its group.
If CMC Markets discovers that a new customer was ineligible, CMC Markets reserves the right to disqualify such customer. The same shall apply if the new customer account is subject to a dispute before or at the time the customer would be entitled to receive the offer of the Promotion.
Each new customer will qualify once for this Promotion. This offer is not transferable and no alternative is available. The Promotion may be amended, altered or withdrawn at any time, for any reason and without prior notice.
4 – Offer
£100 credit
New Customers complying with these Terms and who;
- Executes a minimum of two open and close trades (i.e. two settled trades) on the account no more than four (4) weeks after the date the account is opened;
will receive £100 paid into their Spreadbet account within 5 working days of the last condition being fulfilled.
Money received under this Promotion may not be withdrawn from the MarketMaker:Investor Edition account for 6 (six) months from the date it is paid into the account.
Annual subscription to MarketStars through the MarketMaker:Investor Edition interface and access to level 2 data
Eligible customers complying with these Terms will receive an annual subscription to MarketStars on the MarketMaker:Investor Edition trading platform.
Eligible customers will have access to Level 2 data on MarketMaker:Investor Edition trading platform for 3 months from the date of funding the MarketMaker:Investor Edition account (the “Period”). After expiry of the Period, CMC Markets may in its sole discretion withdraw the access to Level 2 data if the customer does not place a minimum of 30 trades on their MarketMaker:Investor Edition account over any three month period.
Access to My First Trade workshop, Introduction to Technical Analysis seminar and Advanced Technical Analysis seminar
Eligible customers complying with these Terms will have access to My First Trade workshop, Introduction to Technical Analysis seminar and Advanced Technical Analysis seminar provided and detailed on the dates specified on our webpage www.DigitalLook.com/events.
5 – Governing Laws
The promotion and the Terms will be governed by English law and any dispute arising will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of English courts.
