Terms and Conditions
1 – Presentation
This promotion is operated by CMC Spreadbet Plc (registered in England and Wales with Company number 02589529, “CMC Markets”) and whose registered office is at 66 Prescott Street, London, E1 8HG. CMC Spreadbet Plc is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority (FSA reference number 170627).
Subject to the following Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”); this offer entitles new customers opening a MarketMaker: Investor Edition account to receive:
- a free annual subscription to MarketStars through the MarketMaker: Investor Edition interface (normally available on Digital Look website for £150) and free Level 2 data; and
- access to My First Trade workshop, Introduction to Technical Analysis seminar and Spreads on Toast breakfast briefing
- £100 paid into their MarketMaker: Investor Edition account (the “Offer”).
The risks associated with Spread Betting will apply this Offer. Therefore, as a result of your trading activity you undertake to qualify for this Offer, losses incurred may exceed the value of the Offer and your initial deposit.
2 – Start and End dates of the promotion
This promotion is available from 31 August 2008 to 19 December 2008 (inclusive).
3 – Conditions of eligibility
Free annual subscription to MarketStars and level 2 data, access to My First Trade workshop, Introduction to Technical Analysis seminar and Spreads on Toast breakfast briefing.
This Offer is available to “new customers” only. For the purposes of this Offer, a new customer is someone who has never held a MarketMaker: Investor Edition account and who:
- Is a resident of the United Kingdom; and
- Is aged 18 or over at the time of entering the promotion; and
- Submits his/her application between the start date and the end date provided that the application is accepted and the account further opened in accordance with CMC Markets’ standard account opening procedures; and
- Funds his/her MarketMaker: Investor Edition account with a minimum of £200 before the end date;
And who is not:
- An employee of CMC Markets or any other company within its group; or
- A friend or member of the family of such employee; or
- Affiliated or connected to CMC Markets or any other company within its group, including, but not limited to brokers or partners or CMC Markets or any other company within its group.
£100 credit
This offer is available to those “new customers”, as defined above, who;
- Executes a minimum of two open and close trades (i.e. two settled trades) on the account no more than four (4) weeks after the date the account is opened.
Each new customer will qualify once for this offer. This offer is not transferable and no alternative is available. The offer may be amended, altered or withdrawn at any time, for any reason and without prior notice.
CMC Markets reserves the right to refuse any application, at any time and for any reason. If a customer’s application for a MarketMaker: Investor Edition account is rejected, he/she will not be entitled to receive the free annual subscription to MarketStars, the free level 2 data and the sum of £100.
If CMC Markets discovers that a new customer was ineligible, CMC Markets reserves the right to disqualify such customer. The same shall apply if the new customer account is subject to a dispute before or at the time the customer would be entitled to receive the £100 in the absence of such dispute.
4 – Offer
Free annual subscription and level 2 data
Eligible customers complying with these Terms will receive a free annual subscription to MarketStars and free Level 2 data.
Access to My First Trade workshop, Introduction to Technical Analysis seminar and Spreads on Toast breakfast briefing
Eligible customers complying with these Terms will have access to My First Trade workshop, Introduction to Technical Analysis seminar and Spreads on Toast breakfast briefing provided and detailed on the dates specified on our webpage www.DigitalLook.com/events.
£100 credit
Eligible customers complying with these Terms will receive a complementary credit of £100 to their MarketMaker: Investor Edition account.
We will arrange to credit the new customer’s MarketMaker: Investor Edition account with £100 within five (5) business days of the last condition being fulfilled. The £100 will only be credited to the customer’s MarketMaker: Investor Edition Account.
CMC Markets may, in the event of an unexpectedly high response or some other unanticipated factor outside if its control, reasonably extend the payment terms.
The £100 credit is intended for trading with CMC Markets, it cannot therefore be withdrawn for a period of six (6) months from the date it is paid into the customer’s MarketMaker Investor Edition account.
5 – Governing Laws
The promotion and the Terms will be governed by English law and any dispute arising will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of English courts.
